Welcome to Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Solihull. Our nursery is located close to the town centre, near the Touchwood Shopping Centre and Solihull Hospital and just a short drive from the A41 and M42. This makes us perfect for families living in or commuting from the local area.
Here at Monkey Puzzle Solihull we provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for your child to discover and learn through play. Our team of dedicated staff are handpicked to ensure all your child’s daily needs are cared for in a warm and caring environment.
We are part of an award-winning nursery group, offering high quality childcare in our specially equipped nursery for children aged three months to five years old.
We’re just around the corner, with lots for you to discover…
- Enthusiastic, caring and highly qualified team with each child self-selecting their dedicated key person
- Daily extra-curricular activities, all included in our fees
- All main meals and snacks prepared on site by our in-house Cook
- Pampers nappies and wipes are provided for our children
- Modern security systems installed, including CCTV cameras
- Large car park facility
Open 7:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) for 51 weeks per year, (closed for the week between Christmas and New Year)
We are happy to arrange a tour of the nursery so that you can personally experience and explore our nursery facilities. This will allow us the opportunity to talk through our daily routines, weekly planning, next steps and our electronic Famly App that we use to keep parents up to date with their child’s progress.

Nursery Cook
Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm or flexible hours can be considered.
We are looking for a cook to join our nursery kitchen in Solihull.
You’ll receive a competitive salary & benefits package including:
Salary £12-£13 per hour depending on experience
Company pension
Discounted childcare
You should have experience of cooking in a professional kitchen, preferably in a nursery and be familiar with catering to babies and children aged 3 months to 5 years old. You must understand the dietary needs of children, be aware of allergies and how to prepare meals for children with any allergy.
In addition you should also:
- Freshly prepare all food items
- Be responsible for nursery food ordering weekly
- Undertake daily kitchen checks and tasks to maintain a good level of hygiene in the kitchen area
- To ensure all catering activities are carried out daily fridge/freezer checks, open close checks, food temperature checks, cleaning etc
- Hold a current Level 2 Certificate in Food Hygiene
Successful applicants will be asked to provide an enhanced disclosure (DBS check) and provide 5 year reference checks.
